This Certificate Verification Portal is operated by CII-MCM Trust / Mehr Chand Mahajan Trust, Dharamshala ("Trust", "we", "us", or "our") for the purpose of providing an online facility to verify certificates issued in connection with training programmes, vocational education, skill-development programmes, workshops, courses, and other educational or training activities conducted or administered by the Trust.

The portal enables students, certificate holders, employers, institutions, organizations, and other authorized users to verify whether certificate details correspond with records maintained by the Trust.

When you use this Certificate Verification Portal, we may collect or process information necessary to provide certificate verification services, including:

• Name of the student or trainee

Certificate Verification Records

• Misrepresent a certificate as being issued by the Trust when it has not been issued by the Trust
• Use another person's certificate information for fraudulent or unlawful purposes

The Trust may restrict or block access to the portal where misuse, abuse, suspicious activity, or security concerns are identified.

Certificate Authenticity

A certificate should be considered authentic only where its details can be successfully verified against records maintained by the Trust or through an official verification mechanism provided by the Trust.

A copied, scanned, photographed, edited, modified, or digitally reproduced certificate should not by itself be treated as proof of authenticity.

Where there is a discrepancy between a physical or digital certificate and the official verification record, the matter may be referred to the Trust for further verification.

Certificate Validity and Recognition

Certificates issued through training programmes are intended to certify participation, completion, assessment, or achievement in the relevant training or educational programme, as applicable.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the certificate or by the issuing authority, a certificate issued for training purposes does not by itself constitute a government appointment, government employment qualification, statutory licence, professional licence, or guarantee of employment.

The certificate must not be represented as a Government-issued certificate unless it has actually been issued by the relevant Government authority.

Recognition of a certificate by an employer, educational institution, Government department, statutory authority, or other organization may depend upon the applicable rules and requirements of that organization.

No Guarantee of Employment

Completion of a training programme or possession of a certificate does not guarantee employment, recruitment, promotion, salary, government appointment, or admission to any institution.

Employment, recruitment, admission, and other decisions remain subject to the requirements, rules, and policies of the relevant employer, institution, Government department, or other authority.

Verification Results

A verification result indicates the status of the certificate according to the records available to the Trust at the time of verification.

Depending on the portal's implementation, verification results may include:

• Valid / Verified – The submitted certificate details correspond with the records available with the Trust.
• Invalid / Not Found – The submitted certificate details could not be matched with the available records.
• Cancelled / Withdrawn – The certificate has been cancelled or withdrawn by the issuing authority.
• Under Verification – Additional verification may be required before a final status can be provided.

A verification result should not be interpreted beyond the information expressly provided through the official verification system.

Intellectual Property

The content, design, logos, trademarks, certificate formats, databases, text, graphics, software, and other materials associated with the portal may be protected under applicable intellectual-property laws.

No permission is granted to reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or commercially exploit such material without appropriate authorization.

The names, logos, and marks of the Trust and associated organizations must not be used in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, authorization, affiliation, or endorsement.

Portal Availability

The Trust aims to keep the Certificate Verification Portal available and functional. However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

The portal may temporarily become unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Server or hosting issues
• Network failures
• Security incidents
• Software updates
• Technical problems
• Circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Trust

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Trust shall not be responsible for losses arising solely from a user's reliance on information obtained through the portal where such reliance is unreasonable, unauthorized, or contrary to these Terms and Conditions.

Users and third parties should conduct additional verification where certificate information is being used for employment, admission, regulatory, legal, financial, or other consequential purposes.

Fraudulent or Unauthorized Certificates

If a certificate is suspected to have been forged, altered, duplicated, fraudulently issued, or otherwise misused, the Trust may:

• Mark the certificate as invalid or under investigation
• Suspend or withdraw the certificate
• Restrict related verification activity
• Preserve relevant records
• Contact relevant institutions or authorities where appropriate
• Take any other action permitted under applicable law

Changes to This Policy and Terms

The Trust may update this Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in the portal, training programmes, applicable law, security requirements, or operational practices.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the portal after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to the use of this portal or certificate verification services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts having jurisdiction over the Trust's relevant place of operation.
